Hello anybody out there

For anyone tuning in I am finally on my Christmas break. Joy to the world my finals are done lol it's been too long since my last post and much has happened between random 'trips', hanging out with friends, shopping, binge eating and random class projects. It feels so good to be home and I am actually writing this post from my little Christmas gift to me... iPod touch baby. Gotta love the holidays, now I know it's no biggie to everyone out there with the latest iPhone or even iPad but me bring behind the technological wave, this purchase is a big deal. Anywho deft more time to update now. Maybe I can finally post my outfit collage I started so long ago and finally sort thru the hundred fashion blogs and tumble I keep click and save to favorites but never gets chance to look at. This cold weather is horrid to say the least so I'll be inside plenty to do all I need to do. Well this was fun typing a whole entry on this lol I need practice with this touch screen stuff but so far so good.
Hope you all are wearing your favorite jumpers cardigans or whatever knit of choice and are staying warm and cozy preferably with hot cocoa in hand.

It's one of those weeks...just glad to be home

The smell of my mother's chicken is wafting in the air and i am feeling good sitting on my soft comfy bed with familiar objects around me. Feel so good to me home! Ahh, it has indeed been too long (a month to be exact). We get off from tomorrow to Friday for Thanksgiving, but lucky me I only had one class today so I got to come home a lil early. What to do with myself what to do? Oh yea, I have a ton of homework and projects that still need to be done... At least I am in the comfort of my own home tho. Family from Canada is coming to visit, the house will be nice and packed from tomorrow night till Sunday. I don't even mind giving up my bed tho, because we all know when there's company there is an excess of goood food. Ha. This past weekend was probably the most random one I've had in a while. Between blacking out on Thursday ha very random night, the club Friday, and getting my nails done/buying lovely new shoes on Saturday, and random hanging out on Sunday, I was just ready for today to get away from the college scene for a bit. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my weekend, but it is nice to just come home and sit. Really do nothing, not slack off for hours then stress and stay up late doing homework but really relaxed. I am excited to see all my family, eat great food, and maybe go shopping (ohh I hope I get to go shopping Black Friday that might as well be a holiday in itself lol)
More posts this holiday weekeennddd

It's all wrong, it's all right

Halloween was quite an eventful weekend. Scantily clad school girl on Thursday night, random girls night turning into quite the party. One of my best girlfriends came to visit from home and we always have a blast together. Then Friday I stayed in with the beau, quite a slow evening...but we made up for it Saturday. He never likes to go out, but pleasantly surprised we ended up going out to a party together, on Hallows Eve what joy! Idk what I was really supposed to be dressed as, seeing as it was last minute I had my roommates pirate costume, but no hat. I ended up looking like a girl from Oktoberfest, which considering party festivities was quite appropriate. It's only 7 in the morning, which I am NEVER up this early by choice. I go to my field class on Tuesdays but the girl I carpool with is having car troubles. It's great because I could have slept in, problem is once I'm up, I am up. I plan on grabbing a bowl of cereal soon and maybe I can try to sleep for a few more hours. I'm having the most random weeks I feel like. I am at the place where everything in it's weird way seems to be working out. I still stress and worry like I always do, but things get figured out in the end. I hope it stays like this for a while, ha with all my school work, the less worry the better. BTW I hate this time of year with cold winds and runny noses, but loving how I get to wear sweaters. I mean what's better than being swaddled up in a comfy sweater and just hanging out with good friends? Nothing is... unless you add a wood burning fireplace and big cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows :)
Don't lose hope; focus on what you need to do and do it. The more free time you get means the more time to relax and just be.

Hallow's Eve

So many places and so little time, so many faces and so many lies, carousels whipping around the bend, someone is troubled looking for a friend, Hallows Eve arrives, will it ever end?
Haaa it's Saturday and as usual I find myself at the beau's house. I love Halloween and actually celebrated it back from Thursday, went out with the roomies it was great fun. Sometimes the best expierences are the unexpected ones, where a night from party hopping turns into having a blast right in my own house. School girl turned drunk, my night was quite an adventure. I have a few outfit photos from this crisp autumn month and will post them later but for now the above are a few right-click pics that have my attention at the moment.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE. If you can, go trick or treating for me... I miss the free candy here at school.

Why can't I ever keep my promises...

Ha, so much for updating more frequently. It has been exactly a whole month since my last post. Where to begin or where to begin. I went shopping, I'm doing well in school, it is officially autumn right now, THE best season in my book (aside from summer) scarves, socks, sweaters and cardis.... oh let the love of layering take over. I had a pretty good first month back at school, my grades have been ok, professors aren't terrible and OH I got a job so yea I can't complain. I work at a daycare at a church, couldn't have found a better job considering my major/ tentative career path. AND it is a legit two minute walk from where I live. So no worries about not having a car here or walking far in the cold. The kids are cute, and hours pretty minimal but it's just the perfect extra pocket change job I needed. I mean a girl can never have too much income to blow on clothes right? Hmm, I am trying to recall what else has happened. I celebrated two years with the beau, crazy to think it has been that long. My hair seems to finally be growing again (please don't let me mess it up to the point of having to cut it all off again :( ha) oh and I'm going to see Gorillaz this weekend. Can we say a good time is ahead? YES... I know it'll be a good show and after that Monday and Tuesday I'm off for our fall break. Yea college breaks. Ha first semester goes by so fast. After the rush of the first month I seem to have things down pat, hopefully HOPEFULLY I can get back here more. I have enough photos to fill this blog up and writing is a fave past time of mine. The above collage is of random outfits from September. I still need a camera, but that will prob be a Christmas gift to myself or something. I feel like I have been so out of the pop culture bubble lately. I've been keeping up with Glee tho, Britney Brittany episode was amazing, Brittany's body was surprisingly AMAZING ha that's all I paid attention to (no homo just can appreciate a girl who has the discipline to be fit). It inspired me then to jam out to Spears favorites for a good half hour afterwards tho; all that jumping around and dancing was probably the most active I've been all week.
Hope everyone is enjoying the transition of seasons; leaves falling and changing colors, holding hands with mittens on, and making cozy caves from the comforters and blankets on our beds.

We own the sky

WOO it has indeed been a while since my last post. However, I am back at school and since I am constantly on the computer I should be updating a little more frequently. My birthday went great btw, much has happened since then. I went to Longwood Gardens with the beau, got to see MGMT (which was a great show) at the Mann Center, I got this really neat gold Chinese kitty with swinging arm, and a sweet gold Coach purse which has become my necessity for carrying all my school stuff around on campus. I am officially moved into my new place, which is a townhouse with three other girls. As the second week of school is starting, I am finally feeling a little settled in here at home. Last Thursday I got to see Chiddy Bang, again with the beau, at the Theater of the Living Arts and we were able to shimmy and squeeze our way almost to front row. Not exactly front row but very close. If you haven't heard of them before, check them out. I mean I don't know anyone who can free style and incorporate a cereal like Chiddy can, "I ate cinnamon toast crunch with some lesbians" ha. Labor Day weekend came and went and I went up on to New York for our annual family vacation to my aunt and uncles house. Great food, relaxing, and a bit of shopping at the Palisades Center. I need to go back right now... actually I just need to shop in general. The stores, which a lot of the department ones I have here at PA had so many more options. Even when I went to the Chiddy concert I was craving to go shopping at midnight in all the stores on South Street. Slightly addicted to clothing? I think yes. Overall, the month of August came and went, but it feels good to get back into a type of routine. We can't be on summer vacation all our lives right?
Well we could, but that wouldn't be very productive.

Rainmaker call, throw your hammer down

Cannot believe it but my birthday is tomorrow. I mean I can believe it, but it's so weird I will be an official adult. No more teenage years, I am grown. 20 is one of those dud years tho like 17 or 19, nothing exciting like a sweet 16, or 18 where your legal and can stay out later/ buy cigs if you smoke, and well the next big one is after you're an adult 21! Anyway, I didn't really ask for anything this year in hopes my parents will go to Vegas next year for my birthday like I've been asking for years now. I mean one can dream right? But my dad did say he is getting me a GPS. Ha God and everyone else knows my sense of direction is terrible. I'll post up which one I'm getting and review if I can actually survive driving with it. My trip to Jamaica was lovely. Beautiful weather, not humid like the states and a constant breeze. I got to see both my grandmas, eat up (but not fatten up) on great food, and go to the beach for a day. I even conversed with some locals, one being a legit rastafarian. Oh that was indeed a good time. I will post up more photos later from my trip, but most of the photos above are just latest click &save ones from various tumblr sites. It's only one month left till school and I am not looking forward to it. I mean cold weather and homework....I think few would. However, I am enjoying the last few weeks I do have of summer, before the long bleak winter comes upon us. Hope you all are enjoying the weather wheverever you are. Sunny days tho ar by far the best. Especially on the beach. I leave for another vaca next Thursday. OC Maryland here I come, it's so nice down there, I'm pretty excited.
