I'm permanently black and blue, permanently blue for you

Feeling kind of lazy and decided to have a random mini shoot of my outfit today (hence random silly faces). Really should be working on my papers and project...but I have quite a bit of free time until my 4-7PM class. Shorts one day and then right back to that fall look again. Today is kind of dreary outside and a little bit chilly, but all the same I get to layer up and get another wear of that new leather jacket, before it gets too hot to even think about looking at it. I love wearing layers and I hate to admit it but I have become the constant wearer of big shirts, and whatever else you can find, over leggings. I still think there are waaay more creative ways to make an outfit, but some days I can't figure out what to wear and leggings are one of my go to pieces. The above pics are some of my layering inspirations and as for the one of Ashley Olsen, well I just love a good lace look ha.

Btw...if you randomly see a mouse in my photos it's b/c it's the only way I can take a photo with my web cam, without having to stand right in front of the computer.

It's halfway to that 2 year mark

So today is a gorgeous day and it is 70 degrees outside my dorm room and surprisingly...I haven't step foot outside this building all day. Call me lazy or overly tired, I stayed in bed the good first half of my day and then got dressed. Had to do the hair, update my nails by splashing a second coat over what was there before. Today is officially 1 year and 6 months for my boyfriend and I. I'm excited idk seems kinda monumental to me. I'm the girl who never really wanted a boyfriend and was always that support for friends that had theirs. Now I have my own and it's both my first relationship and it's long term, just wow. Anywho we are going out to dinner, no where fancy but our usual Chili's ha. I LOVE CHILI'S and the mini burgers they have. I decided to try something new with my hair and it kinda came out crazy and curly but I think JC (my beau) will enjoy the new look. Me being a fashionista made the dumb mistake of not bringing any spring or summery items back to school for after break. SO, I have had a wonderful week of weather and nothing cute to wear. and 90% of my closet is summer stuff...even JC said I just made a dumb move lol. Well today my outfit is pretty casual and when I go home again I now know to bring back all my warmer weather things. Nothing much is new just school work, been kind of easy lately thank goodness. St. Patty's day oh that was fun. Too bad me staying up late almost resulted in me missing my 8am presentation, but lucky me another team member was absent so we get to do our presentation next week phew...I was so unprepared. It has been a while this I updated this but this semester is already half way over...I have plenty of time to focus on extra curriculars; in other words activities that have absolutely nothing to do with my homework ahah. I just got back from my spring break. It was ok, I didn't get to go to Cancun or anywhere exotic but I was able to take care of things I needed to do. I got quite a bit of shopping in as well. I have decided I soon need to get a new digital camera. My last one broke a few years back and I never replaced it. However, if I want to maintain this blog and show you all I know how to dress I have to find a way to take photos...not to mention the web cam on my computer is no help, but will have to do for now. Wish I could've fit my new boots into the photo with the outfit vs. me holding them in my hand but ha I just had to show them. They were my greatest steal of the break. They were down from $60 to just $17.25, I could not pass them up of course. Anyway, I'm just happy it is starting to get warmer. Hopefully the rest of the week will keep up this trend b/c we all know those weather men are never 100% accurate. I'm done my classes for the day, so I plan on utilizing my free time to get a head start on this weeks homework... after I watch some trashy TV (aka reality shows via Bravo) and snack of course ;-)

Wow, haven't updated since Thanksgiving... Well Christmas and New Years have already passed too. Time flies, anyway, it's my last week home from my month long holiday break, this weekend I'll be back in my jail cell of a dorm room at school. But, I did start the week off on a good note. Last night I went to the Julian Casablancas concert with my boyfriend, and two friends. It was amazing! Sadly I have no pictures to post (maybe I will post one later of the tee I bought hah) but I was too much in awe to even remember I had a camera phone. His voice and the "sick six" sounded EXACTLY like the album. It was très magnifique! After the superb show, we went to a Chinese restaurant to eat some food. We had the munchies BAD. Ha, the Trocadero theater is located in Chinatown and boy I wish it wasn't so late when we got out. Nothing was open, but we found somewhere to eat, and the food (and price) were very much to my liking. Well, last night I got to check two things of my long list of life's to dos. I got to go to a concert (yes sadly that was my first one, but I think a damn good choice for my first ever concert) and I got to go to Chinatown. However, I plan on going back during the day to see the shops...not to mention wooden sandals.

THANK GOD.... IT'S THANKSGIVING. I love this holiday, it gives me a perfect excuse to eat all the food I want all while giving thanks for being able to get the food! I haven't posted in a while because I've been busy with school and things will only speed up more after this break...but hopefully it'll all slow down before Christmas :-P
