If you say it all the time a dirty word will get its cleaning

Well where to begin. What a week, soo glad that there is only one full week left of school. I am almost done all my papers I need to do, and I don't have any exams to worry about for finals cuz I only had to write papers and finish projects so I am excited about that. 4/20 came and went and I didn't celebrate this year ha I guess I am growing up? Or maybe I am becoming boring who knows... but the above collage is from random outfits of the week, i am missing two days tho and that kinda sucks cuz the one was a real good one, but i got tired and changed before i even remembered to take a photo. But enjoy...the photos are ones that have been inspiring me and getting me in the summer mood. Thank god that April is almost over, spring weather and then summer, here i come dresses and skirts and anything exposed :P and it barely rained woot woot sometimes those April showers get to me.

Easter Monday... how blessed we are with such great weather. Well this weekend I went home for the usual Easter festivities (church and family dinner) and accomplished absolutely no school work. However, I did remember to organize my clothes and finally bring back some spring items. Hello hello again favorite white ripped jeans, gladiators, and all things shiny and brightly colored. There are so many things to be inspired by, not just editorials, but nature and all the plants in bloom. I have so much going on this week and already cannot wait for the weekend... exploring and going on mini adventures, yes please! Although, I cannot even imagine getting totally off track and fully enjoying this weather until I complete my many projects due. 15 page paper, interviewing of a subject matter expert, and other small writing projects... the sun can be such a tease. Oh please go outside and frolic in the sun for me, I plan to join all the lil sun fairies soon ha

Feeling kind of lazy and decided to have a random mini shoot of my outfit today (hence random silly faces). Really should be working on my papers and project...but I have quite a bit of free time until my 4-7PM class. Shorts one day and then right back to that fall look again. Today is kind of dreary outside and a little bit chilly, but all the same I get to layer up and get another wear of that new leather jacket, before it gets too hot to even think about looking at it. I love wearing layers and I hate to admit it but I have become the constant wearer of big shirts, and whatever else you can find, over leggings. I still think there are waaay more creative ways to make an outfit, but some days I can't figure out what to wear and leggings are one of my go to pieces. The above pics are some of my layering inspirations and as for the one of Ashley Olsen, well I just love a good lace look ha.

Btw...if you randomly see a mouse in my photos it's b/c it's the only way I can take a photo with my web cam, without having to stand right in front of the computer.

It's halfway to that 2 year mark

So today is a gorgeous day and it is 70 degrees outside my dorm room and surprisingly...I haven't step foot outside this building all day. Call me lazy or overly tired, I stayed in bed the good first half of my day and then got dressed. Had to do the hair, update my nails by splashing a second coat over what was there before. Today is officially 1 year and 6 months for my boyfriend and I. I'm excited idk seems kinda monumental to me. I'm the girl who never really wanted a boyfriend and was always that support for friends that had theirs. Now I have my own and it's both my first relationship and it's long term, just wow. Anywho we are going out to dinner, no where fancy but our usual Chili's ha. I LOVE CHILI'S and the mini burgers they have. I decided to try something new with my hair and it kinda came out crazy and curly but I think JC (my beau) will enjoy the new look. Me being a fashionista made the dumb mistake of not bringing any spring or summery items back to school for after break. SO, I have had a wonderful week of weather and nothing cute to wear. and 90% of my closet is summer stuff...even JC said I just made a dumb move lol. Well today my outfit is pretty casual and when I go home again I now know to bring back all my warmer weather things. Nothing much is new just school work, been kind of easy lately thank goodness. St. Patty's day oh that was fun. Too bad me staying up late almost resulted in me missing my 8am presentation, but lucky me another team member was absent so we get to do our presentation next week phew...I was so unprepared. You'll wanna shake it like you just don't care

It has been a while this I updated this but this semester is already half way over...I have plenty of time to focus on extra curriculars; in other words activities that have absolutely nothing to do with my homework ahah. I just got back from my spring break. It was ok, I didn't get to go to Cancun or anywhere exotic but I was able to take care of things I needed to do. I got quite a bit of shopping in as well. I have decided I soon need to get a new digital camera. My last one broke a few years back and I never replaced it. However, if I want to maintain this blog and show you all I know how to dress I have to find a way to take photos...not to mention the web cam on my computer is no help, but will have to do for now. Wish I could've fit my new boots into the photo with the outfit vs. me holding them in my hand but ha I just had to show them. They were my greatest steal of the break. They were down from $60 to just $17.25, I could not pass them up of course. Anyway, I'm just happy it is starting to get warmer. Hopefully the rest of the week will keep up this trend b/c we all know those weather men are never 100% accurate. I'm done my classes for the day, so I plan on utilizing my free time to get a head start on this weeks homework... after I watch some trashy TV (aka reality shows via Bravo) and snack of course ;-)

It's a manic and crazy field of lies and deception

It's finally Saturday, and I have finally decided to sit down and start my own blog. I am fashion crazed and obsessed over all things clothing, style, or down right creative. I have over 20 fashion blogs saved in my favorites, I can create a stellar outfit in under 10 minutes and my motto is "If I can't be myself around you, thenI can't be around you". It's my latest one, as I seem to make up a new motto to live by on a daily basis. I'm 19 years old and a sophomore in college and one day hope to write for a professional blog or to do something in the fashion industry. I'm down to earth and laid back and ALWAYS up for a good time. Hope you all enjoy this blog
